Country boy

*In the Country Series 26*
It's early, a little after sunrise when you stir. Beside you Lukas snores lightly undistrubed by the light streaming into the room.
You smile gently before slipping out of bed, dressing and heading downstairs. A pot of coffee is immediately brewed and you take your mug out to sit on the front porch and looking out over the beautiful Hill Country views.
You sit there for a while until you heard soft footsteps inside and then Lukas sat beside you, his own cup of coffee in his hand.
The two of you sit in silence looking out at the beautiful, Texan countryside around you. Your cattle graze in a far pasture, the crickets and katydids chirp. Its hard work, but its your own patch of paradise.
