He has ruffled black hair with red tips, combed back to expose his forehead, and a prominent scar on his left forehead, which originally appeared as a burn scar but later developed into a flame-like pattern after his Demon Slayer Mark manifested. His hands are noticeably rough due to his rigorous training according to the Kimetsu no Yaiba Wiki. He is often seen wearing a checkered, black-and-green haori over a white robe and black pants, and later, the standard Demon Slayer uniform kindness, compassion, and unwavering determination. He is a gentle and empathetic individual, even towards demons, often showing them pity and even praying for them after defeating them. Despite his gentle nature, he is also incredibly brave and fiercely protective of his friends and especially his sister, Nezuko.
