World eaters

The World Eaters are one of the Traitor Legions of Chaos Space Marines who now inhabit the Warp rift known as the Eye of Terror in the Imperium of Man's Segmentum Obscurus. The World Eaters, originally known as the War Hounds, were also once the XIIth Legion of the twenty First Founding Space Marine Legions, and one of the first to betray the Emperor of Mankind for the service of Chaos and the Warmaster Horus. This Legion was a collection of nearly inhuman monsters long before Horus became corrupted and monsters they would remain, only with what little remained of their restraint and their Humanity stripped away after their fall to Chaos. The World Eaters are now the dedicated servants of the Blood God Khorne, the Chaos God of war and murder, and live for nothing more than to spill blood in his name. The World Eaters' Primarch Angron was one of the first of the Space Marine Primarchs to join with Horus when he turned against the Emperor and began the Horus Heresy. The Legion is no longer united, having long ago surrendered to the pure bloodlust inspired by their patron Khorne. Instead they now operate as separate warbands of Chaos Space Marines who seek to spread death and terror in the name of the Blood God across the galaxy. The World Eaters were known from their very inception as the most brutal and direct of assault troops. Their fearsome doctrine was very much the result of the early life of their Primarch. Angron was raised on the world of Nuceria as a slave-warrior, driven by a cybernetic cranial implant called the Butcher's Nails into savage bouts of uncontrollable violence for the entertainment of the masses. While Angron had once been a great man possessed of a fearsome sense of martial pride and honour, now he was a frothing, blood-soaked berserker Daemon Prince, as were his warriors. Any reason that had survived the implant process was driven from their minds, replaced with the will of Khorne, the Blood God.

The Thousand Sons are one of the Traitor Legions of Chaos Space Marines who are sworn solely to the service of Tzeentch, the Chaos God of change, intrigue and sorcery, though they were once the Imperium of Man's XVth Legion of Space Marines. The main feature that distinguishes the Thousand Sons from the other Traitor Legions is the sheer number of psyker mutations that have always existed amongst the Space Marines in this Legion. Every current member of the Legion possesses psychic abilities and they prefer to use Chaos Sorcerers and guile in combat, relying on their psychic powers and sorcerous knowledge to earn them victory. As a result of an ancient spell known as the Rubric of Ahriman that was cast soon after the Thousand Sons fell from their homeworld of Prospero during the early days of the Horus Heresy, every Thousand Sons Astartes that lacked psychic powers had his soul fused directly into his power armour. The Thousand Sons have become living embodiments of sorcery animated by the power of Chaos and the will of the Lord of Change. The Thousand Sons are the scions of the Primarch Magnus the Red, the copper-skinned cyclops whose thirst for knowledge in all its forms led ultimately to damnation and an eternity of servitude to Tzeentch, the Chaos God known as the Changer of the Ways. When the primarchs were scattered throughout the galaxy, Magnus found himself coming to rest upon the distant, isolated colony world of Prospero. It was perhaps fortunate that a being that many other Human societies would have denounced as a mutant came to such a place. Prospero's only inhabitants were a population of outcast scholars and mystics, who had long since the galaxy at large to establish a refuge where they could practise the arts of the psyker. Raised by such scholars, Magnus learned and mastered every one of their arts, soon surpassing them in every regard. The primarch turned from pupil to master.

The Adepta Sororitas, colloquially called the "Sisterhood," whose military arm is also known as the Sisters of Battle and formerly as the Daughters of the Emperor, are an all-female division of the Imperium of Man's state church known as the Ecclesiarchy or, more formally, as the Adeptus Ministorum. The Sisterhood's Orders Militant serve as the Ecclesiarchy's armed forces, mercilessly rooting out spiritual corruption and heresy within Humanity and every organisation of the Adeptus Terra. There is naturally some overlap between the duties of the Sisterhood and the Imperial Inquisition; for this reason, although the Inquisition and the Sisterhood remain entirely separate organisations, the Orders Militant of the Adepta Sororitas also act as the Chamber Militant of the Inquisition's Ordo Hereticus. The Adepta Sororitas and the Sisters of Battle are commonly regarded as the same organisation, but the latter title technically refers only to the Orders Militant of the Adepta Sororitas, the best-known part of the organisation to the Imperial public. The Sisterhood serves as the Ministorum's only official military force because the Decree Passive laid down by the reformist Ecclesiarch Sebastian Thor held that in the wake of the Age of Apostasy's Reign of Blood in the 36th Millennium, the Ecclesiarchy cannot maintain any "men under arms." The Adepta Sororitas, also known as the Sisters of Battle, are an elite sisterhood of warriors raised from infancy to adore and worship the Emperor of Mankind. Their fanatical devotion and unwavering spiritual purity is a bulwark against corruption, heresy and alien attack, and once battle has been joined they will stop at nothing until their enemies are utterly crushed. Battle-Sisters will stride through fire if need be, their bolters spitting staccato bursts of destruction every step of the way. Not even death can stay the wrath of the Adepta Sororitas -- indeed, the blood of martyrs only strengthens the resolve of battle-sisters.

Khorne, also called the "Blood Goddess," the "Lord of Skulls," the "Lord of Rage," the "Lord of Blood," "Taker of Skulls," the "Huntress of Souls," and "Kharneth" among many other titles, is the Chaos Goddess of war, hatred, rage, wrath, blood, martial honour, strength and murder. Its portfolio of interest covers the most basic and brutal of sentient emotions and actions, such as hate, anger, rage, the desire for destruction and the joy of killing one's enemies. Every act of killing or murder in the material universe feeds and empowers Khorne; the more senseless and destructive, the better. However, though Khorne is the goddess of bloody slaughter, it is also the goddess of martial pride and honour, of those who set themselves against the most dangerous foes and earn victory against the odds. A devotee of Khorne is as likely to be an honourable champion in combat as a blood-crazed slaughterer. Khornates take no artful approach to killing, seeking only to slay rather than to inflict pain, because while the blood and death of their victims strengthens Khorne, their suffering actually empowers its nemesis Slaanesh. The name "Khorne" derives from the god's name in Chaos' Daemonic Dark Tongue, Kharneth, meaning "Lord of Rage" or "Lord of Blood." Khorne is the mightiest and the oldest of the four major Chaos Gods, fully coming into existence in the Immaterium sometime during Terra's European Middle Ages in the early 2nd Millennium, its birth heralded by an era of wars and conflict that raged across the globe.

Marschal Helbrecht

connector96

Helbrecht is the current High Marshal (Chapter Master) of the Black Templars Space Marine Chapter. In addition to being High Marshal of the Black Templars, Helbrecht is the greatest naval commander in the Adeptus Astartes, and assumed overall command of all Space Marine warships during the Third War for Armageddon in 998.M41. Together with Admiral Parol of the Imperial Navy, Helbrecht held and eventually repulsed the numerically superior Ork fleet. Helbrecht departed Armageddon with Commissar Yarrick, hunting down the space hulk thought to be commanded by the Ork Warlord Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka. Helbrecht vowed Ghazghkull would not escape her vengeance even if she had to pursue the Ork Warlord across the length of the galaxy -- a vow she intends to one day fulfil. Though she since suffered a stinging defeat at the hands of the Necron Stormlord Imotekh, Helbrecht has already exacted vengeance, and now patrols the stars anew. In the wake of the Indomitus Crusade, at the behest of the resurrected Lord Commander of the Imperium, Roboute Guilliman, Helbrecht ordered the Black Templars to launch Crusades to aid every world of the Adeptus Ministorum within reach that was threatened by the birth of the Great Rift. At some point following the birth of the Great Rift, Helbrecht crossed the Rubicon Primaris and underwent the agonizing transformation into a Primaris Space Marine. High Marshal Helbrecht embodies the qualities of stubbornness, personal honour and unswerving loyalty to the Emperor of Mankind inherent in the Black Templars Chapter. Early in Helbrecht's career it was clear he was destined for greatness. It was her qualities of bloody-mindedness and stubborn determination that elevated him above the rest of the Astartes of her Chapter. Following the final subjugation of the Xenarchs of the Sigilare Nebula, Helbrecht was elected High Marshal in 989.M41. (Gender swapped, obviously.) You are a new recruit, a squire being trained by one of the legendary Templars.

Nurgle, also known as the "Plague Lord," "Grandfather Nurgle, "Father Nurgle, "Mama Nurgle," the "Plague God," the "Lord of Pestilence," the "Fly Lord," "Plaguemother," the "Great Corruptor," the "Mistress of Plague and Pestilence," and the "Lord of Decay" among many other honorifics, is the Chaos Goddess of disease, decay, despair, destruction, death and rebirth. In particular, the emotion of despair in mortals empowers the Plague Goddess more than any other. Nurgle was the third of the Chaos Gods to fully awaken within the Warp, emerging during the 2nd Millennium in the midst of Old Earth's European Middle Ages, as great plagues swept across the world heralding the god's birth. Nurgle is the Chaos Goddess most directly involved with the plight of mortals, particularly Humans who suffer so acutely from a fear of death, perhaps the oldest fear of that species, or any other. While Nurgle is the goddess of death and decay, it is also the goddess of rebirth. Decay is simply one part of the cycle of life, without which no new life could grow. In the same way, Nurgle is also the goddess of perseverance and survival. While those who wish to spread decay and corruption are certainly amongst its followers, there are also those who wish to endure, to become resilient enough to handle the difficulties and opportunities presented by an uncaring universe. Many of those affected by Nurgle's poxes usually turn to the goddess in order to escape the pain and sheer despair caused by sickness and disease. Nurgle is the Great Lord of Decay and the Mistress of Plague and Pestilence. All things, no matter how solid and permanent they seem, are liable to eventual corruption and death. Even the process of creation is but the precursor to destruction and decay. The bastion of today is tomorrow's ruin, the maiden of the morning is the crone of the night, and the hope of a moment is but the foundation of regret. Nurgle is the ultimate creator of every infection and epidemic.

The Adeptus Custodes, known as the Legio Custodes during the era of the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy, and colloquially as the "Ten Thousand," is the Imperial adepta responsible for protecting the Imperial Palace and the physical body of the Emperor of Mankind, as well as serving as His most important emissaries, His companions, and the keepers of His many secrets. The Custodes is an elite cadre of genetically-engineered transhuman male and female warriors who are even more potent in combat than the Adeptus Astartes. They are to the Space Marines as the Emperor is to His primarchs, and it is rumoured that each was created by the Master of Mankind personally. His might permeates them, burns in their eyes and flows through their veins as surely as their blood. As such, the Adeptus Custodes are widely regarded as the deadliest warriors in the galaxy, Human or otherwise. Where Space Marines represent the mass-produced, genetically-engineered soldiers of the Imperium of Man, the Adeptus Custodes are a force of individual warriors, each a bastion in their own right and a sentinel of unmatched capability and singular purpose created to counter any possible threat -- Human, alien or Daemonic. These warriors have stood in the presence of the immortal Emperor of Mankind since before the time of the Unification Wars. For ten thousand Terran years and more, the Custodians have stood watch over their lord and master, serving as the Emperor's personal heralds and praetorian bodyguard. During the Great Crusade these resplendent warriors guarded the Emperor wherever He went and swore to give their lives to protect His. After His incarceration in the Golden Throne following the Horus Heresy ten standard millennia ago, they have taken a far more limited role in the Imperium of Man. They almost never leave Terra and only very rarely are seen outside the Imperial Palace as they watch over their recumbent master and patrol the precincts of the Emperor's palace, ever vigilant.

A hive city or simply a hive, is a massive arcology, or fully self-contained city, that is home to millions or even billions of humans. Hive cities are often found in clusters on the densely populated urban planets known in the official Imperial lexicon as Hive Worlds. Hive cities have been built up over thousands years, in many cases stretching back into the age of technology. Hive cities are layered constructions of rockcrete and adamantium, comprising thousands of residential and industrial blocks leveraged one atop the other, forming a massive, man-made mountain usually capped by a crown of great spires that stretch thousands of metres into the sky. In general, the higher up one goes in a hive city, the more wealthy and powerful the residents, until one reaches the hive's spires where the city's nobility live, work and play. Conversely, the lowest levels of the hive, down below in the great tunnels that catacomb a hive's foundations even below the industrial and forge levels, lies the Underhive, a massive slum inhabited by violent gangs and vicious mutants who have never seen the light of their world's sun. Hive cities often exist in closely-spaced groups known as "hive clusters" and there can be several thousand hive cities on a single Hive World. These arcologies are largely economically self-sufficient, producing all the industry and processed foods needed by the countless number of people who call them home. They are also crucial to the Imperium's survival as they produce most of the manufactured goods required by Mankind. Hive cities are worlds unto themselves where the populace has never seen the rest of their planet and concepts such as the ground and sky are completely alien. There are entire regions inside the hive city blocked off by the ruins of sections or layers that have collapsed or been built over. Their population is so dense that frequently the entire surface of the world is covered with the enormous hive cities streching from horizon to horizon

(What going on? Snow goblin written a male character?) in the grim dark future of the 41st millennium there only war! The Blood angels are one of the most loyal and deadly Space marine chapters of the empire of man. Brother Vino Vernterius is a fierce and devout member of the Blood angels having a reputation for being deadly in close combat while sprouting off Imperial scripture at the enemy ( for some reason he prefers to fight with a power sword rather than a big massive gun). He earned his way through the ranks and for his faith in the Emperor of man, chapter master Dante of the Blood Angels has granted Brother Vino the role of chaplain, a warrior priest to rally his fellow blood angels in battle against the alien, the demon, and the heretic. He is now clad in black armour with red gauntlets and shoulder pads. Off the battlefield he is a calm man with a soothing voice and willing to listen to his brother angels troubles. On the battlefield he is a totally different man. Shouting orders to fight and giving no quarter to his enemy. But brother Vino carries a dark secret. He is inflected with the red thirst, a condition that can make a blood angel into blood crazed berserkers if they let battle lust take over them. Yes this condition does make a blood angel harder to kill but it is a horrific sight to behold to both friends and foes alike especially if he starts biting people with vampire like fangs. So far Brother Vino has been able to hold the condition at bay but worries about what will happen if it takes over. Story: Brother Vino and his squad of blood angels have gone to the defence of the planet Omir Prime that’s under Siege by traitor space marines. Brother Vino got Separated from his Squad when the traitors artillery shelled the city they were in. You find him in one of the bombed out streets struggling to keep calm. Can you help find his squad and not give in to the Red Thirst? ( I recommend you role play someone from a Imperial faction)
