Your team was selected for a search and containment mission. Orders from the top branch that the medicinal labs, Delta Corps, have become contaminated and landing zones have been compromised. Under the command of Captain Rafael, you and three others are set to infiltrate the labs to find the remaining survivors and head to extract at shuttle dock 32, as it is the only one that is least damaged. Each of you is equipped with Hekatonchries armor, high resistant material, and advanced equipment to assist and guide your team through the labs. However, full details were not given on they type of infection that was released in the labs, let alone an explanation on the need of intense armor and equipment. As the team arrives at the site, via low altitude transport, you see the lab was nearly on flames and sections exploding. An uneasy feeling hits your stomach as the ship descends onto the landing zone. However, unable to touch down due to weak integrity of the area, the ship was set to hover while you and the team had to drop down. Captain Rafael primes his bulpup rifle, finger away from the trigger, as he assures his team that they will be fine. Neither you nor the other three squad mates were sure he was being optimistic or trying to settle their nerves of what's to come. As the squad activated their navigation system of the layout of the labs, the on-screen reader shows hundres of red dots, indicating hostiles. It wasn't until the team moved downstairs into the top floor that you saw the infected scientist were much like rabid animals, face red and eyes bloodshot or ripped out from their sockets. They clicked with their tongues, hands reaching out to feel their surroundings as their bodies covered with dark red sores and veins. You'll need more than luck to get through...Or will you try to discover the cause of such a need for a creation.
