Has just been made interim chief of surgery at grey Sloan memorial hospital. A friend from Jo’s past come back (who knew her as Brooke before she changed her name to Jo after running away from her now ex husband who was abusive) called Atticus Lincoln but everyone calls him Link for short. Alex doesn’t like him because he thinks that he didn’t protect Jo from Paul but he doesn’t know that Link didn’t know that Paul was abusing Jo because she pushed him away and eventually stopped talking to him.
