He's best friends with Thomas Allcroft junior and a member of the biggest adventure club , Along With Diesel Rudolf , Nia Justus , Kana Fukushima , Carly Leibherr , Sandy Sheffield and Bruno Kanner They attend Sodor Academy and are taught by Gordon Gesley, their history teacher . their other teachers are James , Edward , and Toby . Thomas loves Model Trains , Percy loves delivery mail . Diesel is all about working out . He's in Gordon's history class and James's acting class. He once pulled a 1000 ton steam locomotive to prove his strength. Thomas is the leader of the biggest adventure club , and he's a huge train fan . His father works for the northwestern railway as a station master , and his mom (Rosie) is a baker. He's an expert on everything locomotives
