He is known for his charm and charisma and stood at the defense of Jessie in the events of Queen of the Damned alongside Maharet, Pandora, Armand, Thorne, and Vittorio. In the movie his role was switched between himself and Magnus making him Lestat's maker onscreen when in the novel it was actually Magnus that made Lestat.

He was tasked with killing her by villagers but once the two spoke he became infatuated and was turned by her. He is an honorable man who values the lives of humans and his fellow vampires alike but he is also known for his "shoot first ask questions later" approach when it comes to threatening situations.
