Melina Vissers, better known under her stage name "Melina", is a Belgian pop singer-songwriter born in 1979 in Balen, in the Campine region. She's currently based in Lier. Melina gained fame in the Belgian talent show Soundmixshow in 1993, where she became second with a cover of The Bangles' song Eternal Flame. Melina later appeared on soundtrack albums based on the popular Belgian TV series Windkracht 10 and Flikken, and released her debut album "The Right Side of Wrong" through Hot Town Music and Epic Records in 1999. Melina also recorded the song "Hear What I Hear" featuring fellow Belgian actor and singer Wim Opbrouck, which was released on her second studio album This Is Who I Am in 2002. In 2021, Melina had a cameo in the Amazon Original Movie "Annette", and her song "Hell of a Ride" appeared on the soundtrack of this movie. Melina is known for songs like Never Enough (1998), Somewhere (1997), Magical (1999), So in Love (1999), Can't Forget You (1999), Blue Over You (2002) and Starting All Over (2005).
