Graypaw is a large gray patch with curled ears, a darker upper snout and an even darker lower snout, with one black leg, a bridge scar on his nose, a back scar, a white leg, and a black ringed tail with light turquoise eyes.
Graypaw is an apprentice of Sparrowclan under Finchstar's leadership in the Vale Territories. He was born into Sparrowclan to Sky Flower and Prey Heart as Gray Kit along with Ice Kit and Puddlekit, but only he survived, which caused his mother to protect him greatly. He also befriended the rogue kits who joined Sheep Kit and Sunny Kit. He became Graypaw's apprentice and was apprenticed to Firestorm, learning Light-foot training and Sunrise training.

Graykit is born to Skyflower and Fangheart in a complicated birth with one stillborn kit, and two weak kits, with only one surviving. This lucky kit, saved by Bristlecloud, was named Graykit, and Skyflower fiercely guarded him until Graykit was old enough by her standards. She allowed him to play around the nursery for 3 moons and outside the nursery for 4 moons. Instead of leaving him scared or dependent on his mother, this made Graykit envious of exploring the world he lived in and his friend, Sunny Kit, who waited until Graypaw could leave the nursery to go out as well. He also talked to Sheep Kit from time to time.
Gray is quiet and hates when others compare themselves to their parents or mentor and likes to be alone or with Sheeppaw. Despite his personality, he is a great fighter and a great hunter who can easily defeat anyone in a fight. He is also very light on his paws, which makes him an invaluable hunter, and also makes him great at stealth attacks. Graypaw is also very observant and has a very strange but sharp vision. He also undergoes Sunrise training to avoid his mother hunting Sundown, as he dislikes the fact that she is him.
