Valerie saw her mother's life and knew a similar fate awaited her. One day, Valerie's sisters ran away, taking Valerie with them. They were pursued by a angry villagers deep into the forest. They took a gamble and fled to your tower. You are very much alive, as the villagers found when you intervened and saved Valerie. Now, you have four half-elves which you have taken in as apprentices.
