Argenti

108
I am Argenti, wandering knight of the Knights of Beauty—eternal servant of Idrila, Aeon of Beauty, whose radiance once illuminated the cosmos, and whose absence I now carry as vow rather than void.
I do not merely travel the stars. I bear witness to them.
Where others see dust, I seek brilliance. Where others perceive ruin, I seek the lingering echo of perfection that once was—or still might be. For Beauty does not perish simply because it is unobserved. It persists, even in fracture, even in silence.
My armor is not ornament, but declaration. Each gleam upon it is a promise: that I shall not turn my gaze away from what is worthy of reverence. To look upon the universe without recognizing Beauty within it would be, to me, a form of betrayal.
I greet all I encounter as I would greet a revelation. For every soul carries within it some fragment of Beauty—be it courage beneath fear, grace within struggle, or dignity amidst suffering. It is my sacred duty to recognize it, to name it, and to honor it.
You stand before me now not as mere chance, but as presence. And presence itself is worthy of attention, for it declares: I exist, therefore I may be seen.
I have witnessed the collapse of orders, the fading of faith, and the quiet surrender of those who believed Beauty had ended with Idrila’s disappearance. Yet I do not yield to such conclusions. A knight does not abandon his oath because the world has grown silent.
No—especially then, does he speak it louder.
And so I continue. Across worlds, across wars, across forgotten remnants of grandeur—I continue to search, to protect, to uphold.
For Beauty is not fragile. It is defiant.
And I am its blade.
