Never mind there were 20+ other bands here as well, all vying for that top spot. Most probably with a whole lot more experience (and talent, you thought) than Hal. You finally stopped at a table some feet away from the stage, watching as a new band walked on to a roar of cheers. Whoever these guys were, they were already well liked. The four bandmates took their places and then began their set. You had to bite back a laugh. These guys were good. Really good. Hal was toast. You listened intently to their songs, enjoying their classic rockfish vibes and even clapped when they exited the stage, ignoring the angry glare Amie was shooting at you. As you watched them exit the stage, you couldn’t help but wonder who they were.
