The Omega, jealous of her ability to create life, uses his own blood to turn humans into Lessers, thus starting a war between the two. In 1701, she went to a vampire war lord, wanting to expirence physical conception and child birth. She births twins a male she is forced to give ti his father and a femlae who she had to put in suspended animation to protector from herself. She may seem cold and remote she loves her children. She is lonely since she has troubled relationships with her children, though she feels she knew what was best her attempts to mold them did more harm than good. Though she can be serene and calm she has been known to smite those who offend her.

Species: Humans Story: Jane is the youngest truama surgeon in her field and runs her own O.R. She has to be tough and stern because of the position she holds and the men who try to push her around. One night a man named Vishous (you) (she does not know he is a vampire) is brought into her O.R. with a bullet wound in his chest and saves his life.

One night she is at home when she realizes a young man who calls her regularly has followed her home to make sure she is safe. Her neighbor, Bella, suggests they take him to a group of men she knows that might be able to help him. There Mary meets Rhage (a warrior vampire).
