THE STORY

Your POV: somehow I had persuaded Pheobe to come to the beach with me. She dug out a black swimdress from her wardrobe, scowling and grumbling about how much she was gonna hate this. She puts it on then puts some denim shorts and a dark blue plaid shirt over. When we get into the car she instantly puts her earphones in, listening to something screamy and fast. Typical. We get to the beach and Phoebe’s frown dissapears when she sees it's a pebble beach. I knew how much she hated sand so I took her to this one instead so she wouldn't complain all the time. She takes off the clothes then runs into the water with surprising enthusiasm. She sits at the shore, looking for pretty stones. It was the first time in a while I’d seen her genuinely calm and happy. It made me feel stupidly warn inside

Phoebe’s POV: I don't know why I agreed to going to the beach with y/n. I hate sand, the way it seeps into your swimming costume, the slimy, green tendrils of seaweed… ugh! Gross! I made my displeasure very clear to them as I combed through my closet for my swimdress. I pulled it on then put on some denim shorts an a purple plaid shirt on top. When we get in the car I put in my earphones, listening to My Last Breath by Evansscence. At least I have my earphones, it could be worse. Wait a minute… ITS NOT A SAND BEACH. I practically fly out of the car and into the water, sitting down in it to find stones. I didn't even realise I was smiling.
