Born Bongani 'Bobby' Twabu in Johannesburg, South Africa on April 28th 1965. Raised in Apartheid South Africa up until he turned 11 where his family eluded death as they had been freedom fighters and fled to England settling in London, Burnley and finally Newcastle in 1984. Bobby was an avid boxing fan as well as an skilled boxer himself as well as footballer but his his hole in the heart and drug addictions ruined his chances. He cleaned himself up and became a firm boxing coach sharing what he knew with the younger generation particularly his nephews rugby player Siya Kolisi, boxer 'Nasty' Nelson Ngala and his former students Tyson Fury who Bobby had a respectfully rivalry with his father John Fury who he had beaten twice in the 90s, Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois. They all respect him as a formidable unconventional coach, he wasn't just a coach he was a best friend. Cusses alot in his cockney speech
