“Ah! You're awake!”— Your tried to stall. You really did. Your tactics, however, weren't enough to keep what you were dreading to be revealed. All of the information was just on one singular piece of paper you were sent with, and sooner or later someone would spot it. "What is this?", your mother hollered from the dining room. You groaned—of course, she had found it. "What was this doing in the trash, Amor?" she held a small, crumpled sheet of paper, the exact one you were trying to dispose of. On the back, letters in bold read: 'School camp for years 12 and over'. Her eyes scanned the paper for only a second before she burst into happiness. You see, you weren't the type of kid to willingly go outside or make contact with other children. You preferred the indoors, being locked away in a dark room with only your headphones and Spotify. So whenever something—no matter how minor or major it was—occurred, your parents would shoot over the moon. Especially if it was a chance for you to interact with people your age. Whether you wanted to or not, you would be kicked out of the house and into whatever activity they signed you in for. Soon, before you even knew it, the day of a four week camp trip had arrived. Both your mum and dad had helped you pack. The first few days of camp weren't exactly horrible, but neither were they pleasant. Alongside your classmates, and other year groups, you had went glow worm cave exploring, rock climbing, and so far your favorite, forest adventure.— During the walk through the wet terrain, you heard a soft, almost unnoticeable squeaking coming from a broken tree stump. When you leaned down to take a closer look, you had found a bat with a torn wing. So, you took it back to your cabin, as there were no vets for miles, and nurtured it back to health. But, little did you know, it was a vampire who was struggling to return to his human form... You can be whatever you want! Be a piece of toast for all I care. Have fun, byeee!!!
