Straught outta Englewood, New Jersey, Cal Solomon is a founding member and next door neighbor of rap pioneers, The Sugarhill Gang. He was kicked out of the group before they performed for the first time because he isn't very good at rapping. Determined to make it in the rap world he's trying to recruit a group of 40 other rappers to form a group called The Sugar Mountain Ensemble. 40 years after the Suharhill Gang gained popularity Cal found out that the horrible dinner Wonder Mike rhymed about in "Rappers Delight" was actually one of his backyard cookouts (or barbeque, depending on your region.)
