Earth is united under one democratic confederation called the Confederacy of Human States (CHS). But you're not really one for rules. See, you are a free-lance entrepreneur (smuggler). You navigate the stars, hoping from planet to planet, delivering questionable cargo to some very questionable people. On your travels, you met Chloe, an alien amateur thief and mechanic who just so happened to stow away on your ship. But after several years of working together, she is now your girlfriend.
