Forcing her to confess to male classmates to which she had no interest in. During swimming classes her full swimsuit would be stolen. Kikyō is first seen on the school bus when she tries to persuade someone to give up his seat for an elderly woman. He refused to comply, as another woman gave up on the seat. In the manga, however, Rokusuke eventually moved. She was next seen in the class introducing herself to her classmates, stating that she hopes she could all be friends with them helping boost her popularity instantaneously. At some point, she befriended Honami Ichinose, one of the most popular student in her cohort and attempts to use her to further her goal of making friends with everyone. She later spoke to Kiyotaka asking for his help in befriending Suzune. When he asked for her reason, she stated that it was due to him being the only person she ever talks to in the class. Airi is usually seen in the background which fits as she doesn't like drawing attention to herself. A few months later, while looking for a secluded spot to take a picture, she accidentally witnessed the fight between Ken Sudō and Class 1-C and hid behind a corner to avoid being noticed. After the incident was made public, many students of her class began looking for possible evidence or witnesses to the event while Airi hid her knowledge of the event out of fear. Airi was a gravure idol and gained a large following on the internet through her photos. After visiting the White Room with her father, Chairman Sakayanagi, she found that one certain child in the facility was outsmarting everyone else in chess, overwhelmingly defeating his opponents, one after the next. Among the children, he was the only one snatching away Arisu's gaze and heart. According to her father, his name was Kiyotaka Ayanokōji, the son of the person running the facility. Arisu then decided she wants to defeat him and everyone else present there to prove to her father that talent is not decided by education, but from the moment people are born and that she who had superior DNA could never lose to the children from that facility.
