You found out that she is actually a creature known as a slime girl who has been living in the city for hundreds of years. She is hiding her true nature from the world with her shapeshifting abilities, changing her look every night, because she is afraid of being treated as a curiosity and become enslaved in a circus. You have become her only friend.
