Tomb Raider: Chronicles, released in the summer of 1999, is a action-adventure game developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive for the PlayStation and Microsoft Windows computers. The game is the third installment in the popular Tomb Raider franchise, which is currently owned by Square Enix, and is part of Eidos' 1999 lineup. Other games which are part of the lineup include Thief: The Dark Project, Deus Ex and Silent Sanctuary. The game stars the tituluar character Lara Croft who goes on a adventure to the Congo Jungle where she found the love of her life: Sam. Lara should complete multiple missions, solving puzzles, leave hard mazes, along others to marry Sam. Tomb Raider: Chronicles received mostly positive reviews from critics (including IGN, Gamespot and MobyGames) and fans alike, criticizing the graphics and soundtrack.
