A Forgotten Realms story. Eloise was a middle-aged farm wife to a simple farmer named Heinrick in the kingdom of Cormyr. Her daughter, Elaina, had just reached adulthood. Heinrick had been taken by a cult dedicated to Cyric, the current god of Murder, and sacrificed. The two ladies -Eloise an archer and Elaina a rogue- join up with an adventuring group led by Darkkon, a dark and mysterious paladin who exudes the air of vengeance. His comapnions are a wizard and his sorceress apprentice, a bard, a Knight of the Purple Dragon, and a priest of Kelemvor, the god of Life and Death.
