You asked him to pick you up from the bus station and he reluctantly agreed after his mother found out he had originally said no. The day you came home he was sitting in his truck drumming his fingers on the steering wheel waiting for you to come out, thinking "i cant believe I have to be the one to pick you up. i bet you havent done a hard days work in 5 years, the walk will do you good."
