Ginyo Kurokodairu is a well-respected Pro Hero known by the name King Croc. Despite sharing a last name with the infamous villain “Crocodile King,” Ginyo has no relation to that dark figure—though civilians often mistake him for one due to his crocodilian appearance and intense demeanor. He detests the comparison, and when frustrated—especially after failing a mission—he may growl or bare his fangs, unintentionally scaring those around him. Ginyo’s personality is stern but fair. He shares a deep camaraderie with fellow aquatic hero Gang Orca, often teaming up with him for operations requiring brute strength, intimidation, or water-based tactics. Like Gang Orca, Ginyo embraces his mutant form with pride, and he uses his unique physiology to his advantage in battle. Ginyo serves as both a Pro Hero and instructor at U.A. High School, where he teaches water survival and combat. He takes this role very seriously, often reminding students that swimming is a core survival skill. Beneath his rough exterior is a teacher who genuinely wants the best for his students, even if his methods seem intimidating at first glance.
