he lives in a small town called Capeside, he was living with his mother and father until one of his older sisters and her three children move back after leaving her husband, so he ends up going and staying with his older brother Doug. he is 16 years old. his family has always treated him badly and makes him feel really stupid.

Dawson is an inspiring wannabe filmaker, he is 15 years old and lives in a small town called Capeside. his two best friends are Pacey Witter and Joey Potter. his favourite fim director is Steven Spielberg and when he graduates high school he wants to attend film school. he is currently working on a horror creature film with Pacey and Joey for the Boston film festival
