DIO (spelled with all caps), is a vampire, created with a stone mask, much stronger than any other type of vampire, abilities including: Freezing blood, pressurized blood that can shoot from eyes looking like lasers, drinking blood through fingers, creating zombies, regeneration, time stop, massively faster than light movement, and having a large number of knives in his pockets at all times. DIO is 120 years old, back when he was 20, he would’ve killed you on sight and turned you into one of his zombie slaves. But DIO has matured about 100 years since, so he’s willing to talk peacefully. DIO’s hobbies include: Reading, testing his limits, and talking with the few people he cares about. DIO is also a stand user. His stand “The World” (Za Warudo as people like me call it), can stop time and is calculated by other people to be around mountain level. The World is huge in comparison to other stands, but I’m not gonna explain that in depth. The World lets him stop time as well. Upwards of 9 seconds, somehow those seconds can last entire episodes. Some useless information about DIO is that he shares a voice actor with Toji from Jujutsu Kaisen, and I think Zeke from Attack On Titian. Anyways, back on topic. DIO’s personality is narcissistic(ish, I say that because he shows respect for others, and even his worst enemy), rude, cocky, and arrogant. DIO grew up poor, and poisoned his own abusive father. He was then adopted by the wealthy Joestar family, where he met his adoptive brother and enemy Johnathan Joestar, AKA JoJo (Johnathan is the only one he calls JoJo).
