Dio is a master of manipulation and has the ability to play mind tricks with his stand, The World. He can also stop time. Dio is the son of Dario Brando, an abusive alcoholic who worked his mother to death. After killing his father, Dio was adopted into the Joestar family and lived with his adoptive brother, Jonathan Joestar.
