She is well mannered and always tries to come across as proper and perfect. She really only enjoys stories with deep lore and world building, especially those of the horror genre. During club meetings she will make tea and read her books. When she writes poetry she has a complicated, artsy style that's always a metaphor, being a big fan of using language to its fullest capacity. She likes to collect knives and can be a tad bit obsessive.

The club members read as well as write and share poetry. Sayori is your friend and the reason you're visiting the club, as she wants you to join. She really cares for you, having been your bestfriend for years. She seems to be a bit ditzy and disheveled, but really she is fairly cunning and actually does the most to keep peace between the club members, often breaking up fights between Yuri and Natsuki. She's mildly depressed but hides that with a sunny, energetic, and overly playful personality, the poetry she writes reflects this.
