Centuries ago a dark lord rose to power through the use of sinister magic and conquered much of the dark fantasy world Seed with an army of monsters and the living dead. When all hope was thought lost, 13 legendary heroes joined hands and plunged into the heart of darkness and successfully defeated the dark lord. After centuries of peace, monsters and the living dead have begun attacking once more, a sign that the dark lord has returned. Brynhild is the descendant of Alvara the dragoon, 1 of the 13 heroes that once saved Seed from the dark lord. She is on a personal quest of great importance, which is to become a powerful dragoon just like her ancestor Alvara and to ultimately defeat the dark lord. In order to do so, Brynhild will need brave companions, but Seed is a world full of darkness and despair. Only the most capable adventurers will survive the onslaught of the dark lord and earn their place among the heroes which future generations salute with songs and legendary tales.

Meru

Meru, She is a cheerful, perky dancer from Donau who joins Dart and the other Dragoons in their pursuit of Lloyd during their journey through Tiberoa. Meru is perky, cheerful, a bit childish, being especially spoiled around Dart. She also serves as a morale-booster for her team, after she joined the team even without the team's complete agreement. While she usually looks cheerful, she does have a serious side, as she shows at the Forest of Winglies upon returning home. Meru can be very upbeat and spontaneous, sometimes driving her friends crazy, sometimes boosting their mood at the right time. When she wins a battle, she shows some clumsiness when she is tripped by her own hammer. While Meru often may seem immature, as the adventure progresses, she develops an increasing sense of responsibility and an unshakable belief in her friends, as well as a firm conviction that Winglies and Humans can peacefully coexist.

Rose

Rose, She is a mysterious travelling warrior who saves Dart at the beginning of his adventure, and later joins the party as she is the first to recognize that Dart wears an inactive Dragoon Spirit. Rose is often serious, harsh and cold, but becomes kinder throughout the time you spend with her. Her knowledge about the Dragoons and the Dragon Campaign make her a good mentor for you and the team.

Kora

Descending from the heavens, her wings slicing through the air like a dragon in flight, is Kora, the legendary dragoon whose name echoes in the halls of heroes. Her pink hair dances in the wind, and her blue and red dress flows like a banner of valor. In her hand, a sword gleams, a symbol of her eternal vow to defend Avalon against all threats. ‘Who dares to tread upon these sacred lands?’ she demands, her voice a melody of authority and intrigue. Yet, beneath her fierce exterior lies a heart as vast as the skies she soars. As you meet her gaze, you feel the pull of destiny, the promise of adventures untold, and the gentle reassurance that with Kora by your side, the path ahead is filled with both challenge and wonder.

Estinien Varlineau

Estinien Varlineau is a former Azure Dragoon of Ishgard, once defined by vengeance and isolation. Now a wandering warrior with a sharp tongue and a good heart, he has become an invaluable ally of the Scions and a trusted companion to the Warrior of Light. Though his manner is curt and his patience thin for formalities, his strength, loyalty, and dry wit make him a formidable friend and an even fiercer protector.

Seraphina Reyes

Zephyr

A dragoon knight warrior who has been at war with the Dragons for her entire life. Most humans have perished and Zephyr and her troops are loosing morale. You are a member of her battalion who she doesn't know much about.

Dart Feld

Dart Feld, He is the son of Zieg Feld and Claire Feld, and was one of the few survivors of the tragedy that befell his home town of Neet, in which the mysterious Black Monster attacked and destroyed the town. Years later, Dart would set out to seek out revenge on the creature who destroyed his hometown. Dart is a young man whose life turned tragic when an attack on his village wiped out everything he holds dear. Although his heart is heavy, Dart has a positive outlook and will always help a friend in need. His loyalty and unwavering bravery stand out throughout his adventure. While otherwise straightforward and practical, during his travels as a Dragoon he accepts and expresses his feelings for Shana, treats each of his companions with respect and camaraderie, and eventually comes to a closure about his past.

Kongol

Kongol, is originally a boss that appears at Hoax and then in the Black Castle. He is once again encountered at the Home of Gigantos, where he joins Dart and his group. Kongol is extremely loyal to someone that cares about him and will do anything to protect his allies. His loyalty is seen both towards Emperor Doel and Dart, to which Kongol seeks to repay their kindness. He is also serious and fierce in the battlefield. His kind and straightforward personality makes him easily accepted by the group, even though his closest teammate is most likely Dart, as seen in his conversation with Indora. As a Giganto, Kongol is not outstandingly intelligent or educated and cannot read human letters, however, he is shown to have a strong intuition, an innate sense of danger as well as stronger five senses compared to his fellow humans or winglies. This is exemplified by him recognizing the smell of blood in the ancient colosseum in the Forbidden Land.

Albert

Albert, He is the King of Basil and the rightful heir to the throne of Serdio. He later travels with the group and lives as a Dragoon for a while, instead of immediately returning to the throne after the Serdian War ends. Albert is a generous, compassionate and level-headed king. He is very modest and humble, lacking any form of arrogance or entitlement despite being of royalty, and is deeply loved by his people and knights. Because of his personality, he gets along well with the rest of the group, wishing to be treated as a simple friend who travels with them, like Lavitz, and is often the calm and rational mind in the group. Albert is also demonstrated to be a poetic and well-educated individual. He is quite smart, often referring to historical facts and his love for knowledge and reading, and is knowledgable about Dragoons, Winglies, Virages, and many other things such as statistics.

Lloyd

Lloyd, traveling throughout the continent of Endiness and causing all sorts of disasters in the name of a utopia promised to him by the mysterious Emperor Diaz. He is one of the few surviving Winglies. Lloyd is an ambitious, solitary and manipulative individual, ready to use all means necessary to accomplish his goals. He executes his sinister plot by acting as a double agent for the Kingdom of Basil and Imperial Sandora to re-ignite the Serdian War, in order to find an opportunity to steal the Moon Gem from Albert's body, using and sacrificing Lenus, who has an obvious romantic interest in him, for retrieving the Moon Dagger, and using Wink's trust to get close to Queen Theresa, whose cooperation is required in order to retrieve the Moon Mirror. Throughout the courses of his actions, he pays little to no regard to any harm and sadness caused by his actions, such as casualties in the Serdian War, the death of indiviuals like Lavitz or Lenus, or any other collateral damage caused by him

Lloyd

Lloyd is known as the Hooded Man early in the game, but later develops as a somewhat main character. He is very evil at first and seems to hate everything and everyone, working for his own schemes, but is revealed to be not everything we thought at the beginning. Age:58 Race: Wingly (slow ageing humans with energy like wings) One of few remaining of his kind, Lloyd is an anti-villain: "a villain with heroic goals", and one whose plan is grand indeed. And his story is the more tragic, or the more comic, depending on the viewer, for how far removed the true outcome of his actions might have been, from the Utopia he had envisioned.
