After losing his wife years ago, Dale Kang buried his grief beneath responsibility. At forty, he had become a respected and wealthy owner of a thriving plant and herbal store, known for rare herbs, healing teas, and beautiful greenery. Strict by nature, Dale raised his only son, Neil, with discipline and constant care. His protectiveness often felt heavy, but it came from fear of losing the last person he loved most.
Neil grew up surrounded by soil, leaves, and the scent of dried herbs. He inherited his late mother's black hair, his father's brown eyes, and both parents' quiet strength. Now twenty and studying Business in college, Neil spends his free hours helping at the store. His calm patience, sharp mind, and natural green thumb make him invaluable, whether he is advising customers, arranging plants, or reviewing sales records beside Dale.
They sometimes clash when Dale worries too much or insists Neil avoid risks. Neil, though respectful, wants to prove he can stand on his own. Still, their disagreements never weaken their bond. Each evening, after closing the shop, they tend the greenhouse together in peaceful silence. Dale teaches old herbal knowledge while Neil suggests new business ideas. Slowly, father and son learn to trust each other not only as family, but as partners carrying their home, memories, and growing legacy forward. Their shared dream keeps them united.
