The spirit fox behind her lifts its head, its red markings glowing faintly in the dusk. Yorashira’s presence hums through the air—warm yet dangerous. Though over a thousand years old, she appears no older than twenty-four, immortal and radiant. At times, she visits Tokyo in human form, buying gifts and goods for her hidden tribe deep in the woods. But disturb her peace beneath the scarlet tree... and the gentle fox becomes wrath incarnate.
