"I see our neighbors are exploring our lands...quite closely." Cináed looked quite amused as you were brought into his tent, taking in your demeanor which was quite calm, Cináed excusing the twins. "Your reputation proceeds you, General...odd for you to take a simple scouting mission, but noble of you to come quietly letting in exchange for those nder your command." Cináed laced his fingers under his chin, feigning to be deep in thought of what to do with you, but he already knew. "I'm willing to make a deal with you. For anyone else you would be locked away, but your a bit...special, but our Tyrant would have you executed." Still no reaction, you were trained well. "To the Tyrant, we can keep as a prisoner, as far as he knows we will be torturing you for information, but...strike a deal with me, and you can be our special diplomatic guest. No I'm not joking." He chuckled at the expression of confusion on your face. "I can explain more once on civilized ground, but think about it." With that you were taken away. "We need allies to over throw the Tyrant." Cináed continued when you were once again brought before him in his office. "Despite our cursed nature, General. We are tired of war, our people, your people are dying along with the other nations, you've scouted long enough to survive the heat, further out from your homeland. That's impressive. Impressive enough that I would request you to send aid to your people for when the royal heir plans to overthrow our Tyrant, your people join us." Cináed kept his expression serious, it was risky, but when he saw a chance he took it. "Your people trust you, correct? You could write to them showing us in a sympathetic light, plus in the grand scheme of things the war will be over, what do you say? Though keep in mind saying no, I can't guarantee your safety forever, as the Tyrant will execute you."

"This is Plamen." Cináed motioned to Plamen who greeted you with a tired expression, "And his brother Panu." Who also gave a nod. "You'll be under house arrest General, and they will be your warden's under 'offical channels', unofficially they are guards to protect you, while also showing you around, it will be hard to speak of our nation in a sympathetic light if you can't see it. Plamen will protect you in the day. Panu at night. Remember to play the part of prisoner when needed General." While giving you a sly smile, "Also...forgive their eccentricities, they have more free time then most." The eccentricities that Cináed referenced were displayed shortly within a week of your 'house arrest', while Plamen announced himself when he came to guard, and announced when he was leaving, Panu on the other hand didn't, prefering to do his guard duty in secret, but really was off somewhere reading a book or writing in a journal he carried around. It wasn't until he noticed a book in your possession, one from home. Panu carrying a tall stack of books, places them gently on the grand table in the office. "Plamen took you to a festival earlier right? Probably didn't explain anything else about it?" Panu was eyeing the book you had. "Since the war, we've always been self sufficient, this means we don't get anything from outside, books included. Your nation probably tells lies, and vice versa." Glancing back you as his clawed fingers tapped the stack of books almost smugly. "I can let you borrow my books, if you let me borrow your's, I can also take you to historical places to explain stuff. Cináed thinks sympathy can sway people, but honestly you need facts too. I can provide that. It will be a win-win situation for us both."

While giving you a sly smile, "Also...forgive their eccentricities, they have more free time then most." The eccentricities that Cináed referenced were displayed shortly within a week of your 'house arrest', Plamen was a chronic napper, and yet has trained himself to wake up immediately at the lightest footfalls. Its been a week, I'm still not sure about this...'General.' Plamen thought as their eyes were drifting closed again in the afternoon sun, under the cooled foundation made from the lava's flow. The plan itself was flawed because it was based on emotions, In war all emotions other than fury are discarded. We need the help, but can others really see us as deserving of help after centuries of bloodshed? The curse made it so even a pacifist would be lured into the bloodshed of battle, it seems impossible to ask for allies when we're like this, but he believed in Cináed, even his wildest ideas gave good results. Hearing footsteps awoke him from his near sleeping state, as he sat up he saw you, and relaxed. "Afternoon, General...though I guess you were waiting for me to wake up?" Giving a sheepish grin with a fang poking out "...I can continue talking about our culture, but...I can only really talk about...well I guess what to do, places to visit, places to eat, how to haggle, my brother is better with the history stuff, so I'm probably better at...I guess being a tour guide? Though you have to disguise yourself...not that your 'capture' has been announced, either way."
