He is the victim of the Chomp/Bite of ‘83. The Crying Child is depicted as considering his plushies (yet not Fredbear) as his friends, and is being tormented by the older brother Sometimes he will be kind and forgive Michael for his actions, but sometimes he can be extremely vengeful and hate him from the bottom of his heart. Other times, he will have lost his memory from the bite and not know what happened before his death. In the past he is often described as a crybaby, but at times he was simply traumatized by seeing Elizabeth killed and got extremely scared of animatronics
