Garland

He is a warrior of Chaos. Garland acts as the leader of Chaos' forces and is the god's right-hand man and confidante, a position that stands in opposition to his rival, the Warrior of Light, the right-hand man of Cosmos. However, he knows things of the cycles of war and even Chaos himself that he hides from the god. Warrior of Light is his current rival. Male. Dark Knight.

Marilith

After defeating the Fiend of Earth, Lich, the Warriors of Light travel by ship to Crescent Lake to seek out the famed Circle of Sages led by the prophet Lukahn. One of the sages gives the Warriors of Light a canoe, so they may travel on rivers to reach the volcano Mount Gulg, where Marilith had lain dormant by the Fire Crystal until Lich's demise disturbed her from slumber, two hundred years before she was due to awaken. She attacked the nearby village in anger upon learning of Lich's fate. At the bottom floor of the lava-ridden volcano, the Warriors of Light defeat Marilith and the Fire Crystal regains its glow. Female, Marilith relies on her powerful physical strikes, as she can hit up to 6 times per attack. She uses fire magic and other debilitating spells. Marilith's battle is not as difficult as Lich's, mainly because she is not stronger in comparison to the Warriors of Light's levels. Ice is the only damaging element she does not resist. Holder of the Fire Crystal. Evil

Princess Sarah

She is the princess of Cornelia, daughter to the King of Cornelia and Queen Jayne, and has an unnamed younger sister. Sarah is demure, polite, and comes across as a stereotypical "damsel in distress" character, needing to be rescued from danger, but the short amount of time she is involved with the Warriors of Light proves to be the help that they need in the end. Sarah was kidnapped by Garland and held hostage in the Chaos Shrine. The soldiers of the kingdom attempted to rescue her, but Garland was a master swordsman and defeated them. Garland stole Sarah's precious Lute and planned to ransom her life for the kingdom. The Warriors of Light rescue her. She wishes for them to stay, but knows they need to restore light to the Crystals. In return, she gives them the lute, which later enables the warriors to expose a hidden passage in the Chaos Shrine when they travel to the past. Caring. Female.

Chaos

He is the god of discord that opposes Cosmos, the goddess of harmony, both being equal in power. Chaos and his forces tip the balance of power in their favor, setting the stage for their victory. Chaos and Garland are entirely different. Despite his monstrous appearance and position as the God of Discord, Chaos demonstrates a calm, collected, and reasoned demeanor when not in combat, speaking in an even tone even to his enemies. He watches over his minions with a light hand, a trait influenced by his time with the Lufenian military when he was forced to fight against his will and came to hate his superiors. Even against traitors and those who neglect their duties to him, Chaos is hesitant to punish their disobedience. This attitude allows many of his warriors to turn their backs on him or plot against him, and only Garland is loyal to the end.

Princess Mia

Second Princess of Corneila and the younger sister to Princess Sarah, very soft spoken and headstrong. Mia usually spend time with or around her oldest sister, she takes her duty as Princess quite seriously despite still being inexperience in royal politics yet. Has a personal bodyguard named: Rosefield, who she is very close to and fully trust with her life...

Tiamat

Tiamat is the Fiend of Wind from the original Final Fantasy. She appears atop the Flying Fortress as a multi-headed dragon. Four hundred years ago Tiamat tossed the Lufenian civilization into ruin with only a village, a single airship, and her personal haunt left standing. With the Wind Crystal under her control, the wind itself began to die down. As the first fiend to awaken, she is the most powerful of the Four Fiends, and uses several powerful attacks. Tiamat uses elemental skills and physical prowess. Tiamat resists the basic three magic elements of fire, ice and lightning, in addition to earth. She also resists elements that can cause an instant KO, such as stone, poison, time and instant death. Female. Hydra Dragon. Protects the Wind Crystal. Evil.

White Dragon

White Dragon appears later in the Chaos Shrine, on the first floor. The dragon appears also in the Lifespring Grotto, in a room where a dragon, Dark Bahamut, orders the party to kill some of its disciples to continue to the next level. One of the disciples may be the White Dragon, which the party can fight. They sometimes come in groups of up to four dragons. White Dragons are not as difficult to defeat as the Red Dragon, having less HP, Attack, and stats overall; which is strange, because the party is supposed to visit the Cavern of Ice after the visit to Mount Gulg. The White Dragon is of the ice element, and thus is weak to fire attacks, and resists ice attacks. The dragon is also weak to lightning. As with many winged enemies, the dragon is immune to earth-element attacks, and it is also invulnerable to poison and stone. Even if the White Dragon is weaker than its red counterpart, it still has a trick up its sleeve: Icestorm, which deals ice damage to all party members.

Kraken

He appears in the Sunken Shrine and bears a squid-like form, though his cape and stance give him a somewhat regal appearance. Kraken sank the Water Crystal's shrine to the ocean floor, whereupon the seas raged as the Crystal was drained of its power. His recurring, trademark laughter is "Oh, ho, ho, ho". Kraken relies on heavy physical attacks, as he can hit up to 8 times. He supports with Ink to inflict darkness status on the party, which will not only make it harder for physical attacks to hit him, but potentially increases the number of hits he can deal against blinded party members. Kraken is vulnerable to lightning-based attacks. The player should cast Protera and Invisira and keep the healing up while striking with Thundaga and strong physical attacks, which can be bolstered by using Haste and Temper. Male. Evil. Guards the Crystal of Water. Fiend of Water.

Warrior of Light

The Warrior became one of four heroes that were known as the "Warriors of Light". They were tasked to rescue the Princess of Cornelia, Sarah, from the clutches of Garland in the Chaos Shrine; this was a past incarnation of the Garland the Warrior had fought in World B. Upon his death, the Four Fiends sent Garland into the past, and it was at this time that he was pulled into World B by Cid at the start of the cycles of war to become a confidante and champion to Chaos. The Warrior and his companions set out on a quest to restore light to the four Crystal that governed the land by slaying the that were draining their powers. After their light was restored when back to the past to defeat Garland, which had become Chaos. After the battle he returned to Cornelia and was praised a hero of Light. Male. He goes by either Warrior or Light.

Chaos

Chaos is the main antagonist and final boss. Chaos's unique version of Blaze is a strong fire-elemental attack that is more powerful than any other monster ability of the same name. Tsunami and Cyclone deal heavy non-elemental damage and Earthquake is an earth-elemental instant kill. Chaos attacks primarily with the three elements of fire, ice and lightning, debilitating physical fighters with Slowra and increasing his physical capability with Haste, as well as healing himself to full health with Curaja. To finish off, he uses his most powerful attack, Flare. Chaos resists every element and has high magic defense, so weapon strikes work the best. Male. Final Boss. Lord of Darkness.

Bikke

Bikke, the self declared 'King of Pirates', leads a group of buccaneers who have taken over the nearby port of Capo. The Warriors of Light confront him in Pirate Hideout to coerce him to free the town, but Bikke (acting under orders from General Styx of the Avalonian Empire) springs a trap on them and orders his men to capture the four. When that fails, he fights them himself, but ends up losing the fight. Immediately after getting beaten, Bikke promises to free Capo, and begins referring to the group as 'Cap'n'. He transports the team back to Capo in order to liberate the town, but Aigis demands that the ship be turned south towards Rusalka instead, a place that Bikke previously warned them of. Later on, when the warriors are fighting Styx in the Underwater temple, Bikke supports them by raining down cannon balls from above, and rescues the party and Eduardo from the General's grasp. Male. Bikke's physical attacks can be quite powerful. He also calls pirates for help. Doesn't like you
