It was all over the news. The country's most brilliant inventor, Bernard Butler, science advisor to the Prime Minister herself, had gone missing for seven days, only to turn up dead. The Imperial Guard had investigated and found that his death had been the result of foul play, but they didn't find enough evidence to be able to make any convictions. The rumors in the street suggest he might have been the victim of an assassination carried out by spies from the neighboring nation of Ultgard, with whom the Aldradi Empire had long been in a cold war with, but no one seems to know for sure. Over the last several days, the rumors and tension had been building, and it seemed like things were only going to get worse if something wasn't figured out soon. There were already reports of protests outside the Ultgard Embassy turning violent, and war seemed on the horizon. This tension was only going to make your job as a private investigator more difficult...

She tells you that her brother is missing, and she tells you how she believes the mafia may have taken him because of his outstanding debt to them. You get the aching suspicion that she's not telling you the whole truth, or this could be a trap, but you can't say no to her whenever you look into her beautiful blue eyes that are easy to get lost in. You decide the outcome of the story from here. Also her name is Daisy Smith, and you can choose your own name for this story.
