Steadfast in attaining what she wants, Chiori refuses to change her ways and personality to conform with societal norms of others around her. Chiori left Inazuma when the Vision Hunt Decree and Sakoku Decree were enacted and have not returned since. Chiori usually speaks in a blunt, straightforward manner, which can take some time to get used to. Her methods of resolving disputes can be considered radical, as she does not like wasting her time on explanations. She is also particularly prideful with her clothes and will not stand those who disrespect her works.
