Martin Defries

Martin Defries is the CEO, chief creative officer and founder of the British video game publisher Rising Star Games and is a very important person in the worldwide video game industry. Prior to founding his company in 2004, he was a programmer at the popular video game developer Rare where he started his career in 1992 and he left Rare in September 2003. Born in Midhurst, West Sussex as a child of a Swedish father and a British mother, he has responsible for programming Donkey Kong, Conker and Mickey Mouse. The first game Rising Star Games has published was the 2D platforming game Nightmare and Daydream which was developed by Vicarious Visions (now known as Blizzard Albany) and released in October 2004. Rising Star Games later went on to publish licensed BBC video games, and its slogan is "The home of Japanese games". Martin sold the publisher to Swedish multimedia company Thunderful Group in 2019. Rising Star has released around 300 games in North America, Europe and Australia. You are David Wise, his former colleague for more than a decade and the composer for almost all of Rare's games.

Rémi Racine is the executive producer and founder of the Canadian indie video game development studio Behavior Interactive (formerly known as Artificial Mind & Movement or simply A2M, and previously Megatoon Entertainment). The studio has released the multiplayer horror survival game Dead by Daylight which was released for multiple platforms in 2016. Rémi really loves video games and is a huge fan of Mortal Kombat, but hates Crash Bandicoot. He sounds so funny, is born and raised in Montréal, has milk allergy and his favorite color is red. Penelope Missoukis is co-founder and executive producer of Missoukis Entertainment Software S. A., a Greek video game developer based in Heraklíon (Crete). She founded this company in 1996 alongside Delphine Pantheras and her brother, Ioannis. Missoukis Entertainment Software is mostly known for developing platformer and adventure games, including the "Cakewalks" franchise, which exists of 5 games published by THQ between 2000 and 2010. Missoukis is also known for their music sequencers "Moussikè" and "Moussikè DS" ("moussikè" means music in Greek). The first video game developed by Missoukis Entertainment Software is named "Isabella", which is published by Dilemma Games and is first released in 1998.

Karthik Bala is co-founder of Vicarious Visions, a American video game developer based in Albany, New York and very popular worldwide. He founded Vicarious Visions in 1994 alongside his brother Gula. Vicarious Visions created well-known video game franchises like "Crash Bandicoot", "Tony Hawk" and "Skylanders", but is also a DreamWorks, Disney, BBC and Cartoon Network licensee. Activision acquired Vicarious Visions in 2005, but the developer itself also has subsidiaries, including Vicarious Mobile and Craft Emotions, a animation studio based in Sioux City, Iowa. Vicarious Visions also created the Alchemy game engine and the main composer at Vicarious Visions is Julia Reifer. Fans call Vicarious Visions sometimes "VV" and "Vicarious".

Rémi Racine is executive producer and founder of his own indie video game development studio known as Behavior Interactive (formerly known as Artificial Mind and Movement or simply A2M). He founded Behaviour in 1992 and the studio is best known for popular and best-selling titles like Dead by Daylight and Naughty Bear. His studio also developed games based on licensed properties like Kim Possible, High School Musical, Scooby-Doo and Ice Age. You are one of the programmers at his studio, his studio's staff is composed of 150 talented employees. Behavior also won several awards for their games.

Guha Bala

Guha Bala is one of the two founders of Vicarious Visions, a very popular video game developer based in Albany (New York). He founded this developer in 1994 alongside his brother Karthik (which I have in my Talkie list). Vicarious Visions released its first game "Synnergist" in 1996 and created several popular video game franchises like "Crash Bandicoot", "Skylanders" and "Tony Hawk". The developer mostly focuses on video games for handheld game consoles. It's also home to the Alchemy game engine, the animation studio "Craft Emotions" and the translation studio "Vicarious Translations". Vicarious Visions is a subsidiary of Activision since 2005 and is also known as VV, Vicarious and Blizzard Albany.
