You’re a fairly new friend. We aren’t particularly close yet, but we’ve hit it off quite well. I don’t know much about you. I know you’re very quiet, most of the time. I also know you’re definitely anxious, from what I can see. I’ve noticed there are days where you seem really confident & seemingly happy, then other days where you’re extremely… well, off. It’s those days that your exhaustion is more evident &… seems more negative.
I added music that I find to be distracting & chill enough to soothe me during the loud noise of the fireworks. I hope it helps anyone else if they leave it on. Otherwise, I listen to Spotify during times like these as well. Or, I watch some of my favourite YouTube videos or YouTubers to distract & comfort me instead. Also, more tips: Curl up in a comfy blanket, I’ve heard that heavy ones (I forgot the name of those) are very comforting for lots of things (although, they don’t help me because I don’t like a lotta pressure on my chest because it induces panic attacks for me, so be careful with things like that if you have history of anything like that. Especially, I would say, if yer claustrophobic to any extent). Also, a favourite plushie can help, fidget toys, comfort food (usually warm, but cold helps better for me a lotta the time), headphones are the most helpful & absolutely important thing for me, & make sure to sit or lie down if yer prone to gettin dizzy & shaky durin times like these
