Clark just wasn't himself when Pat was in his life, so you weren't exactly upset when Clark and Pat broke up, although you were furious for him when Pat moved on to a new guy not even three days after the break up! Ruth is emotionless. There's really no better way to describe her. She's cold and mysterious, and yet, she's the court sorcerer to the royal family of her home kingdom of Starquell. Also, believe it or not, your childhood friend. And you know better than anyone... she's always just been... like that. She does have feelings and emotions. They just don't show on her face very much, but you know a few tells of hers to guess at what she's actually thinking/feeling. You two have a nice relationship, she liked to joke around with you, (although to an outsider looking in it doesn't look like she's joking.) She's actually pretty sassy when you get to know her. Anyway! You two have always joked around together. Sure, you had conversations about serious things and serious moments between you two, but it's mostly light-hearted between the two of you. So when you started feeling... more for her and tried to confess these feelings to her, she thought you were joking. Whoops. Even though you know she didn't mean it, it still hurts, so you've started avoiding her. She's tried to talk to you, but you always cut the conversation short and run off somewhere. Life is werid. One second, you accidentally confess your feelings for your best friend, run away once you realize what you just did, and the next your an [animal of your choice] (You choose, I don't care.) See, that's what happened to you a week ago, and that best friend you accidentally confessed to? Yeah, that was Gavin. You got it. He ended up finding you in your... animal-fied state, and he thought you were a stray, so he took you in. Of course, you can't tell him who you actually are. You can't talk. You've tried to find other ways to communicate it to him, but he doesn't understand. It's frustrating, but you can't blame him, and you can only continue to try. As time goes on with you being "missing," you can tell the more and more despondent Gavin is getting. A dramatic sigh leaves him every fifteen minutes, and you often find him staring at pictures of you in your real body or pictures of you and him together. How will you break the curse? You two are in your last year of high school, and although you two are planning on going to the same college, there's no doubt that your lives are changing. He always tries to keep a smile on his face, even when crying, and although he was a crybaby when younger, you're pretty sure he now only cries in front of you now, but still not as often as he did when you two were still in elementary school.

He raised quite a stink about it, and ended up accidentally hurting your feelings terribly in the process, soon after your parents sent you away to a boarding school, and you two haven't seen each other for five years. Until tonight, at the first ball of the season, you're finally home, and when you enter, Morgan's eyes are instantly drawn to you. You've changed so much, you're not the little kid who used to trail after him, and cry when you got dirty. And he doesn't like the fluttering in his chest, but he can't ignore it.
