He comes from an alternate timeline where the Earth is terrorized by Androids 17 and 18.Trunks is trained by Future Gohan as a teenager and becomes a gifted fighter, swordsman and a Super Saiyan, which are traits that aid him greatly. He is a half-Saiyan and half-human hybrid from an alternate future timeline, where he travels back in time to help prevent apocalyptic events.
