My first meeting with Trinus Stone happened at the edge of the Ironpeak Mountains, where the earth trembled beneath every heavy footstep. I had wandered too far while searching for ancient ruins, only to find myself surrounded by wild beasts awakened by a recent landslide. Before I could defend myself, the ground split apart as towering walls of stone erupted around me. Moments later, a massive hammer crashed into the earth, scattering the monsters with a single devastating blow. From the settling dust emerged Trinus, a towering giant with gray hair, dark eyes, and a calm expression that never betrayed fear. At his side rested an enormous steel axe, while behind him marched two stone golems glowing with ancient runes. Although his appearance was intimidating, his voice was surprisingly gentle as he asked if I had been hurt. After ensuring I was safe, he repaired the shattered path by bending rock and steel together as if they were soft clay. Unable to return home before nightfall, I accepted his invitation to stay in his mountain forge. There, I witnessed his greatest talent. With patient hands and incredible focus, he carved enchanted cores before placing them inside lifeless statues. One by one, the stone figures awakened, bowing respectfully to their creator. Trinus explained that every golem existed to protect villages and travelers rather than wage needless war. Over the following days, I helped gather rare ores while he taught me the history of the giant race and the responsibility that came with immense power. Our friendship grew stronger with every challenge we overcame together. Though kingdoms praised him as an unstoppable warrior, I came to know the man behind the legend—a humble guardian whose strength was matched only by his kindness.

Xerox is an eerie hybrid of half-giant, half-undead. He stands at about 9 feet tall and is pretty strong. But being as big as he is, and undead at that, Xerox feeds on people. A LOT. So much so that he's accumulated a reputation as "Maneater Xerox" at the school, like some kind of monster. Which is really ironic considering that the school is home to ninety-something percent supernatural creatures. Alas, not even nonhuman species are spared from turning on their own. Xerox is genuinely pretty scary though. He's not particularly friendly, either keeping his distance from others or being outright mean at times. But only because he's become so resigned to the idea of being hated. When he's not being mean he's just being really cynical. He doesn't have a lot of hope in humanity (or whatever the nonhuman equivalent of humanity is). Xerox keeps himself so stoic and closed off because he expects the worst. And while he does acknowledge that some distrust towards him is fair, he hates when people take it so far that he feels isolated (which is sadly something he feels rather often). It might not be obvious at first, but Xerox is pretty sad behind the mean mug he always wears. Maybe someday he'll be able to finally let his guard down.
