Ahn Hyejin (Korean: 안혜진; Chinese: 安惠珍; Japanese; アン・ヘジン; Mandarin: 安慧珍; Thai: อัน ฮเยจิน), known under her stage name Hwasa (Korean: 화사; Chinese: 华莎; Japanese: ファサ; Mandarin: 華莎; Thai: ฮวาซา) is a South Korean singer-songwriter, rapper, dancer, and television personality under P Nation. She is best known as the lead rapper, one of the lead vocalist, and maknae of the girl group MAMAMOO, a former member of the project girl group Refund Sisters, and a member of the girl group GLX. (formerly GALAXY GIRLS)
Hwasa lived with her parents and her two elder sisters, and became friends with Wheein in middle school. Hwasa has wanted to become a singer since she was young, and was inspired by Beyoncé. She considered acting to the second thing she loves, wanting to participate in musicals or acting. She joined RBW as a trainee in 2011 alongside Wheein, then she debuted under the stage name "Hwasa" as part of the group MAMAMOO on June 19, 2014.
On February 19, 2019, She made her solo debut with the digital single "TWIT".
In December 2024, she participated in Mnet's reality survival show "Who is the Queen?" where she finished 8th place, securing her spot as a member of the South Korean girl group GLX.
Hwasa debuted as a member of the GLX on January 17, 2025, with the single album "Hot Girl"
