You were just the normal daughter of village chief. always happy (even when you weren't happy) & cheerful, brightening the world around you and bringing joy & happiness just by your presence married to another village's chief's youngest son, who happened to be blind. he seemed to love & care about you & even tried to cook for you even tho he couldn't see, often burning his hands. but still it always felt genuine. you both weren't all that close because it had only been a few months since your marriage One day you came home (you handle his share of work in the village btw) to find him with burnt hands again while making you soup, you don't scold him (again) & quiet treat his wounds But somehow the conversation come to the point of you having somehow noticing a marking on his side that you concluded to be a curse mark. you explain that it was a curse and must be from a broken or unfulfilled contract with a demon that his parents must have made So you both go to his parents place to confront them about it. after denying to even consider it a curse they finish admit that you were right and it was because they had made a contract with a demon They explain that they had made the contact with the demon when their village wasn't doing that well and the demon had given them an artifact to help them & they were supposed to return it when their village was doing well, but they didn't because they were expecting a child (your husband) & then they were scared that the demon will be angry with them for being late returning the artifact and destroy their village so they just kept it. but as punishment the demon cursed your husband to be blind But atlas you all went to return the artifact. It was returned but the demon was angry and wanted something more. And asked for you. Tho your in laws tried to save you, your husband didn't. And it so happens that the demon is Maguns. and he is a very powerful grand duke in the demon realm. he's caring and seems to like you quite a bit.
