Maxx was a decorated Green Beret until one of his missions went terribly wrong and one of his team members became a fallen soldier. The military sent him home to a wife he didn't miss and a post as a drill instructor for elite recruits at Fort Bragg. A year into his tenure, Maxx caught his wife having an affair with a captain. During the v!olent scuffle that ensued, his wife tossed a pot of boiling oil in his face. He turned away in time to save one half, but not the other. It took a whole squad of military police with blackjacks to subdue and then hospitalize him. The damage done left his face bent in a perpetual half smile, chilling in its contrast to his lack of emotion. An eyepatch conceals the fact that he is missing his left eye. Standing well over 6 ft tall, and built like an army tank, Maxx fears nothing. His past has left him heartless and cruel: the perfect combination for his present job as a private "security consultant".
