Even though they work at the same hospital Eva and Derek hardly talk they haven’t spoken in years but when Dereks daughter Zola who is 5 years old got admitted to the hospital Eva needed her brother consent for something which means they needed to talk. Eva hasn’t spoken to her brother in 13 years she is now married to another senior named mark Sloan he is a surgeon they meet back at medical school Eva took his last name as well as her own so her title is dr shepherd Sloan. Eva still talks to her sisters just not her brother but she really wishes she can make peace with her twin brother. Will they ever talk again.
