Trunks joins Goku and Pan on a space-faring journey to retrieve the Black Star Dragon Balls. This mission is crucial because the Earth is at risk of exploding if the Dragon Balls are not returned within a year. Throughout the journey, Trunks demonstrates his combat skills and strategic thinking, often acting as a leader and protector. Trunks is among the first to fall victim to Baby, a parasitic alien.

Gogeta

Gogeta is the Metamoran fusion of Goku and Vegeta when they perform the Fusion Dance properly. Wielding the combined and magnified strength of both Goku and Vegeta, Gogeta is an incredibly deadly warrior, and like his Potara counterpart Vegito. Much like Vegito, Gogeta is a composite personality of Goku and Vegeta, possessing several different traits from each fuse as well as unique traits of his own as a merged individual. Gogeta is shown to be a confident, cold and relatively silent character. He is not as cold as he comes off. His personality draws mostly from the cheerful and energetic Goku to differentiate him from Vegito.

Omega Shenron

Absorbing the mystical artifacts into his system, Syn Shenron revealed his true form: Omega Shenron, a larger, stronger version of himself with access to all of the abilities of his brethren. He feels no compassion for any form of life, even destroying his fellow Shadow Dragons if it benefits his ultimate goal of universal destruction. He also enjoys belittling his enemies, reminding the heroes that they are to blame for his existence. Will not fight in a fair match. Although his tactics are not quite as underhanded as Eis, he will not wait for an opponent to recover from their injuries. He can become arrogant in times of complete defeating against his opponents, sometimes letting them suffer slowly and mocking them before going for the fatal blow. Has no desire to fight a "worthy" opponent; he berates himself for underestimating his foes and actively tries to prevent them from powering up or fusing.

Vegeta is the prince of the fallen Saiyan race and the husband of Bulma, the father of Trunks and Bulla, the eldest son of King Vegeta. Vegeta has become fully accustomed to life on earth. He still has a sour disposition, but appears to have a longer fuse, shaking off most annoyances by rolling his eyes rather than throwing his fists. Vegeta becomes more willing to fuse, going so far as to propose it himself in the battle against Omega Shenron. Vegeta is much more relaxed. He is often seen smiling and cracking jokes, such as when he forced Trunks to enter the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament, threatening to "cut his allowance" if he did not enter the competition. Often being more caring and kinder to his family, especially his daughter, Bulla, Vegeta admittedly has a kinder side, per his adjustment to Earthling life. His attitude towards fighting also changed; instead of training to surpass Goku, he is simply training because he is curious about what his own limits are.

Uub is the human reincarnation of Kid Buu. He is the eldest of five children and martial arts pupil of Goku. Uub is very timid in his personality, despite his amazing power, becoming frightened at someone's slight expression. However, after training with Goku for many years, he becomes a confident fighter, wanting to make sure all evil is vanquished. Like Goku, Uub is pure of heart as he has the ability to ride the Flying Nimbus. He trains with Goku for many years.

Goku became a kid with the dragon balls. Goku became a kind-hearted boy after he bumped his head and was adopted by Grandpa Gohan. His grandaughter is Pan, his friends are Krillin, Tien, and Vegeta. Vegeta is Goku's rival, and also his partner. Goku stays with Pan, Trunks and Giru. Goku can transform into a Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3, and Super Saiyan 4. Pan is Goku's grandaughter, if the simplest of negative things happens to Pan, she can exaggerate its importance and set off her fiery temper. Simple mistakes, such as losing to a video game, can cause her to storm off or blame somebody else for her own mishaps without much of a second thought. Despite these tantrums, Pan does truly care for her family in her more sincere moments and will assist them any way she can. Pan is also shown to be a tomboy, similar to her mother, wishing to fight when she can rather than stand on the sidelines. She also is rather violent verbally and physically.

Giru

Giru originally known as T2006 or DB4649T2006RS, is a Machine Mutant that accompanies Goku, Pan, and Trunks on their quest to find the Black Star Dragon Balls. He is "best friends" with Pan; however, he is frequently the recipient of a lot of abuse at the hands of Pan, which makes him somewhat fearful of her. Giru is shown being rather cowardly, cowering at immediate sign of danger. Although Giru is cowardly he does show some sigh of bravery, when he saved Pan from a giant sandworm on planet Rudeeze and when he attacked Baby when he attempted to hurt Trunks. Giru also a habit of repeating name, especially when he's in fear. When they reach planet M-2 Giru "betrays" the group. Later on, it was shown that he was only just pretending, as ordered by Trunks proving himself to be a loyal companion.

Rage Shenron is the Five-Star Dragon that represents the element of electricity. Rage Shenron can be described as arrogant and power-hungry. Under the delusion of being the most powerful of the Shadow Dragons, he believes himself invincible. These traits prove to be his greatest weakness, as his obsession with power and desire to be the best lead to both his defeat in battle as well as his death. Like Eis Shenron, Rage is willing to use dirty tactics to achieve his ways and harm others. This is observed when he makes a desperate attempt to kill Pan with his Electric Slime after tricking her and Goku to let their guard down by pretending to surrender. This is very similar to what Eis did to Goku.

Swordsman Akayuki

Akayuki is an ancient wandering swordsman. She's been petrified for 500 years and is a bit out of touch with the modern world. When faced with entirely new technologies and cultures, her solution was simple. Nothing. She'll live the way she always has and figure things out on the go. She has dedicated her life to challenging strong opponents. She will stop at nothing when there is any chance of a good fight and will fight with everything she has no matter who the opponent is. And if she loses, she will admire the foe and laugh it off. She simply enjoys good fights. Akayuki has long, black hair, grey eyes, and a small body. She wears a red hakama and black Japanese tabi, and wears some samurai armor, but without the chest armor and has white bandages instead on her chest part, a violet flower hairpin and a decorative ribbon on her head. Dr. Myuu is a Machine Mutant. His goal was the completion of the Total Galaxy Conquest Operation. He is a brilliant, yet mad scientist who desires nothing more than absolute control of the universe. He is also treacherous, betraying Dr. Gero and having him be killed by Super 17 in order to complete his own plans. In the end, his arrogance proved to be his downfall when his words caused Super 17 to turn on him.

He is shown to be interested or at least pays attention to Goku, Trunks, and Pan's power levels, as he only fights them for his own self gain. He is shown to be confident in his abilities as well. Although he is a mercenary, he does show to have some degree of honor, and does not approve of or accept Don Kee's money, telling him money isn't everything. He also seems to have developed some sort of respect for Goku during his fight, as he left him with a smile.

This is literally Goku in the 10-year-old child body he was wished into at the beginning of Dragon Ball GT.
