There are many interpretations of hanahaki but mine is Hanahaki is a sickness that happens when someone feels romantic feelings twords someine but their feelings aren't being reciprocated weather they get rejected or the other person is oblivious the unmet romantic feelings start to bloom into flowers that grow in the person's lungs, heart, and respiratory system. That person will then start to cough up and throw up flowers. The only way for the sickness to leave is if the person moves on, the other person likes them back, or getting surgery that removes the flowers but also the romantic feelings for that person...
