🥂New Years Eve 2025 (1)🎉 After a late night (or rather early morning) out in the bustle of Roppongi to celebrate the New Year, the last thing you wanted to do on January 1st was get up early. However, your college friends and dormmates are adamant that you join them for Hatsumode, the first Shrine visit of the new year. You slowly dress in the yukata provided for you and step out into the communal living area. Your dormmates look up and smile. Yuka, your best friend in Tokyo, adjusts your Yukata a little whilst quiet Hayato watches the interaction with a soft smile. Once Yuka has finished, Hayato stands and walks over to you, adding a white faux fur stole around your shoulders. "There, now you look perfect," he says with a shy smile. Your cheeks flush, this sweet, shy man has won your heart, though you have never told him so. The group head to the shrine together, meeting with others they know along the route. When they get there, they go up to the shrine to pay their respects and then Hayato takes himself off to write an ema whilst you, Yuka and the other go to get omikuji.
