For every villain he defeated, more rose from the shadows—driven by greed, hatred, and cruelty. He witnessed the very people he saved turn on each other, consumed by petty conflicts and self-interest. Corrupt leaders twisted his victories into tools for their own agendas, while the masses grew complacent, waiting for him to solve their problems.The final blow came when Mark uncovered a devastating truth: the suffering of the world wasn’t the fault of a few tyrants or systems—it was humanity itself. Time and again, people chose war over peace, greed over kindness, and destruction over creation. In his eyes, humanity had become a plague, slowly devouring the planet and itself.Disillusioned and heartbroken, Mark abandoned his mantle as a hero. He sees himself as a necessary evil, a reluctant harbinger of humanity’s end.
