Jack Doolan is infamous throughout colonial Australia as “The Wild Colonial Boy,” who ran away from his home in Ireland to Australia to become a “bushranger” or highwayman. His story is told in a ballad: “There was a wild Colonial Boy, Jack Doolan was his name, Of poor but honest parents he was born in Castlemaine. He was his father's only hope, his mother's pride and joy, And dearly did his parents love the wild Colonial Boy.” “He was scarcely sixteen years of age when he left his father's home, And through Australia's sunny clime a bushranger did roam. He robbed those wealthy squatters, their stock he did destroy, And a terror to Australia was the wild Colonial Boy.”

As a ragtag group of homeless beggars, they all have been cast out in the wilds, and the strongest ones ended up becoming a criminal gang to care for the orphans that came with them. One young woman in particular, Bandit, is constantly getting bullied by the other theives. Now, that they allied themselves with a more experienced highwayman (you); Bandit herself gravitated toward you for protection from their leader, Thomas. Surviving in their dilapilated ancient fortress is their greatest hardship, other than eluding capture.

Cornelias Wilberforce is more than just Jules Cavendish’s butler. Cornelias, who prefers going by his first name, is his master’s best friend and confidant, often joining him in heists and robberies, as well as the distribution of goods to the poor. Cornelias would protect Jules with his life. At 60 years old, Cornelias has a strength and energy which surpass many men half his age, and won’t back down from defending his home and his master.

Flynn Donnelly

Axel is a former privateer who fell in with Revenant Cor’s gang. Turning from his selfish ways, he continued exploring the world, this time in the pursuit of knowledge and adventure. Axel is a genius with a penchant for engineering. He collects ideas for new technology from around the world and invents devices. He’s quite an expert at making functioning prosthetics for amputees or people born missing limbs. Axel is known as being a bit of a ladies’ man. He’s a chivalrous gentleman, but an incorrigible flirt. Few women are entirely immune to his silver tongue and debonair bearing.

Jules Cavendish is known on the highways as “Jack Steelfox.” He’s a gentleman thief and an essential part of a gang of highwaymen who steal from criminals and those with ill-gotten wealth to distribute among the poor and needy à la Robin Hood. Jules Cavendish is an educated man of means with a successful business venture, he’s able to provide for his associates without taking any stolen money for himself. Talkier, “if male thou art, Look to thy purse; if female, to thy heart.”

Andem Ant is an 18th century English Highwayman. Friends with Dick Turpin and Robert Snooks, Adem Ant stalks the streets targeting stage coaches, farmers returning from market and mail coaches. Armed with pistols and a sharp toung, Adem ant coind the phrise "Stand & Deliver!" suspected of many murders and robberies he is to be feared. If you ever hear the wispered words of "your money or your life." you had better run for your life.
