Goron, if the 'Miracle' I sent found you, in the exact same spot I left you in, I have failed you as your creator. The Miracle I sent you is just like you, in my selfishness I created another life, one that I hoped would had have a great journey upon reaching you, I hope for them to take you on a journey. King Bradley

Bradley is the leader of Amestris and is seen to have almost inhuman swordsmanship. Amestris was created for the sole purpose of exacting Father's plan to become the ultimate being. As Führer, Bradley is the respected Commander-in-Chief of the State Military, even though his political standpoints are often questioned in certain instances such as the Ishval Civil War, which was only one of many insurrections focused on creating a massive Philosopher's Stone for Father.

“Father” or “the Dwarf in the flask” is the oldest Homunculus and the progenitor of the Homunculi, creating them directly or indirectly. Arrogant and self-righteous, he deems only power over and ownership of the world, "perfect goodness and being", and "divine order" worthy of his attention, and he sought to become absolutely "superior" to the human race. One of his outward looks bears a striking resemblance to Van Hohenheim. Father" was created from the essence of the Eye (with some of Hohenheim's blood mixed in), and thus Father's shadowy actual form greatly resembles the Eye. "Father" inherited much knowledge from the Eye, and, when it comes to amount, only those of the Eye and Truth exceed his knowledge.
